2. While it's supposedly free, it's not easy to navigate and required phone calls to the front desk two nights in a row and ultimately my phone call was transferred to an ATT wifi service call.

The rooms were adequate in size for the price comparison, comfortably laid out with a couch and a desk and as a bonus had a free wifi access, a refridgerator and a microwave if you wanted to save with a bit of dining in (no utensils though) It was literally a 2 minute walk to Times Square but back enough not to have the congestion, hype and noise of hotels that are on the Square.

Positive points :- Very large room and well equipped (best bed I`ve ever had, LCD TV, Free WiFi, microwave, fridge)- Friendly staff (especially Donald the bell man, always ready to give you some good advices and help)- Great breakfast at the Pigalle resto- Zip check out system, allowing to check out by pushing a button (no need to queue at the reception).

The good:- Free highspeed (wired) in the rooms, wireless in the lobby- Free bottles of water (for Hilton Hhonors members)- Location- Lots of nearby restaurants- Reasonable sized mini-fridge, reasonably new microwave, and LCD TV (although with only an SD signal an old TV would have been fine)The bad:- Street noise is bad, but being on the 6th floor, I heard almost nothing after 10 PM- Cost, although that is true of all hotels in the area- The bathroom paint (especially the door) needed to be redone (see photos)If I had to stay within walking distance of Times Square, I`d stay here again.

66. The free internet was a nice touch, but I couldn`t get the wireless to work, so I needed to keep my laptop at the desk - not a big deal.

The hotel is newly refurbished and is very smart and clean, the very best service from the moment my car turned up outside, I was whisked in, checked in fast and with a friendly guy at the desk, the porter went off and 10 seconds later habded me a bottle of water, free, off to the room on the 9th floor over looking 8th ave, this was large clean, very clean, the BEST BED IN THE WORLD, god I want this bed at home, free internet wifi or in the business centre, the maid knocked on the door to see if I was ok, the reception asked every day.
