I spent only one night - I left next morning to Marriott - the only reason was that rooms were too small (I need extra space I dont'l like small rooms) therefore apart from that I have no negative comments on this hotel - it's all positive and most of the staff kindness - I was there a month after the the change of ownership before it used to be called Wayland Waikiki and was run by Outrigger then they changed to Marriott.

182. had the pleasure of staying in the wyland last week for four nights a small hotel as american hotels go but a real nice stay ,it started as we arrived from sydney at 10 am tired the reception staff offered us a room to use till our room was ready later as it turned out we kept the same room all room are a little small but when the bags are stored away it was fine clean all mod cons large plazma ect grounds are like a art gallery and inside is full of art works small bar located 3min from main bar and shops ,all main buses for island stop outside and around 10 min walk to the beach congrats to the staff alan /ann billington.
