1. Location:This resort is great if you want to get to a destination and stay there all week.

2. The property is stellar - beautifully maintained, 3 pools each with different amenities, hot tubs reserved for families, adults, kids, great pool bar and restaurant and upscale restaurant with patio dining, bar with good happy happy specials, in lovely location.

3. The lobby, located in the Hale Kona tower, is open air and has many of the attributes of the gorgeous Hyatt Kauai.

4. It has a private beach and since its located in the west part of Oahu, the sunset is spectacular.

6. This location is on the less populated west coast so it's a drive to most of the sights - a plus for us since it was out of the crowds and traffic,but could be a negative if Waikiki is more than a once or twice visit.

7. On one hand, the location and grounds are worth going back for, but the room left us feeling underwhelmed and misled.
