1. In short, I recommend this hotel - if you're like me amd use hotels as a place to keep your luggage and sleep at the end of a busy day sightseeing - then this is the place for you.

6. Great boutique hotel a couple of blocks off Union Square, less than comparable hotels nearby but beautiful antique furnishings, comfy beds, upscale linens and convenience make this a great value.

9. Though my local SFO friends mentioned that this hotel area is not 'safe' at night due to 'all kinds of people' strolling about, I did not find it to be the case in my one night stay.
