1. The restaurant is well decorated with a good buffet selection, the fitness center has top notch equipment which you will need to work off the calories from those famous DT cookies.

Especially since New York is known for small hotel rooms - the spacious accomodations at Doubletree were wonderful - separate bedroom - which made putting the children to bed easy - living room with pull-out couch - small bar in living room with refrigerator and micro-wave - and yet all the amenities of a full-service hotel - mini-bar, restaurant, doorman - etc. Maid left extra towels since we had 5 guests ( 2 children) - without asking - and no charge for the Fitness Center.
