1. I pay much attention to my bed at home - the right quality and positioning of pillows to the thread count of the bed linen and the weight of the duvet and this bed was bliss - felt like home which takes a lot of doing for any hotel and I slept wonderfully.

3. The location is fabulous, very near Michigan ave, many delicious restaurants and Rush street, the mattress/pillows were above average and comfortable and the bathroom is a perfect size.

4. First of all the Sofitel rooms are exquisitely comfortable, with perfect beds, pillows, robes, slippers, lots of storage for all your clothes and impedimenta, and gorgeous baths with tub and separate shower stall with great shower head.

5. The bed was soft and comfortable with down pillows or you could get other pillows if you are allergic to down.

7. We had two kids with us and when we called to get linens for the sofabed, housekeeping staff came and made the bed and quickly took care of requests for extra pillows, etc. The concierge was great with restaurant recommendations, too, and didn't try to push us into the hotel's spot.
