It was 8 degrees so there wasn't a whole lot to do, but the
lobby
was cozy with a fire blazing and there is a restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient.

The happy hours at McCormick & Schmicks and the lively Cruise Room (both next to the hotel
lobby
) give a hotel patron great options especially on a snowy evening.

It's more like being in a grand old house -- the intimate feel of the
lobby
, plush carpet in the hallway that cushions your feet, the real doorknobs with tassels on the keys, and the wonderful robe and cushy bed to relax in after a busy day.

We were immediately drawn to The Oxford's old beautifully restored
