1. Most Portland hotels were VERY expensive and considering we weren't going to be in the room other than sleeping, the prices were just outrageous.

2. My daughter & I were 1st time visitors & this hotel met our needs perfectly--close to downtown, kitchenette, great service, free parking, WIFI, and very comfortable without the expense of the high-end hotels.

4. The Nob Hill area is really close by and contrary to what I have read on other sites it was not Snob Hill and the food was not expensive.
