5. I was 2 rooms away from the elevator bank so I can only imagine what it must have been like if you were right next to it, and 5) the fitness center is pretty good but they charge to use it if you don't have enough HH status, the TVS on the wall are tiny and the machine I used didn't have a working TV.

7. The Jazz Fest rate was $199/nt (compared to $249 at the Sheraton) which is high for a hotel like this at any time except during J Fest when the town was 97% booked.

9. My money says, for $200 a night, stay at a posh and memorable local B&B where you will be catered to instead of treated like a conference automaton.
