1. I wish the front desk staff in this hotel were as good as their maintenance staff.

2. I would also like to say a good word about the maintenance personnel - this is not a new place, and there were a few things broken in my room, and I made several requests that were quickly and efficiently dealt with.

3. The hotel is surrounded by Qualcomm offices, a Fresh&Easy market is not far away on the Mira Mesa Bvd (also a good outside lunch spot nearby the F&E) - calculate good 20min to downtown San Diego or Torrey Pines Glider Point beach.

10. : (On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, the free wireless worked flawlessly, the free breakfast is very good and includes made-to-order omelets and a choice of indoor/outdoor seating, there is a nice interior courtyard with a pool, almost every room has a balcony, and the hotel staff are very friendly and pleasant.
