If you are a fan of over-sized rooms and
bathroom
s, however, you should either opt for a premium room, or stick to the newer hotels because the 'standard' room was fairly small and the
bathroom
was very small.

My only complaint is that the
bathroom
was small but it does make up for this by having a separate changing area with beautiful mirrored closet doors.

The
bathroom
was a bit rough around the edges and could do with a bit of a spruce up.

The
bathroom
fan was very loud and there was some road noise as well even though we were on the top floor.

The bedroom was spacious, the sitting area was acceptable, the
bathroom
was a tad cramped but nice.

The
bathroom
was on the smaller side, with a sink outside of the actual
bathroom
, but more than adequate.

The toilet worked only if you poured a glass of water down it, there was only a tiny shelf in the
bathroom
with no counter space, the a/c was loud, and the ceiling fan (or something) made a loud clicking sound all night long.

The room felt a bit crowded and the
bathroom
lacked space near the sink to even set my toothbrush down, but the historic ambiance (complete with ghosts on almost every floor!) along with the wonderful service more than made up for any inconvenience.

The room I was in on the 4th floor had a very high ceiling, lots of wood moldings, and marble tile in the
bathroom
.

Rooms are super-cozy and quiet, although the
bathroom
s are a bit small but that is to be expected in an older hotel.
