1. The bathroom looked like it had not been updated in about 20 years and the shower was pretty dirty.

2. There were a few areas that needed refreshed- the carpet and wallpaper in the hallways of some floors had seen better days; there was some rust around the drain in the shower; minor chips in the vanity, but I find that to be just normal wear and tear in a busy hotel.
