5. My friend and I had a few beers at the lobby lounge which were pretty pricey but there are some Pubs just down the street that were nice and had reasonable prices.

7. There is free street parking on the weekends, but we ended up keeping our car in valet just because we didn`t want to deal with it.

8. When you call to request a specific part of the hotel to stay (advice :ask for the quiet side facing ABC news towards 17th street), all the staff will do is say if when you check in if a room is still available they`ll let you have it.

9. Valet parking is pricey at $35 per night, but when I handed the keys to the valet on Saturday night, he suggested I try a spot on the street for free to save me the money.
