Here are my comments, FYIs & suggestions:1)
Parking
is $52 a day, but they don't charge for weekends, which I didn't know, so we were only charged for one night of
parking
, which was a pleasant surprise!2) This hotel is in a GREAT location.

You could self-park (which is what we did) if you could find
parking
on your own for cheaper.

I would recommend
parking
at one of the nearby lots at Northwestern Hospital, as the valet
parking
is $50/night and takes about 20-30 minutes to retrieve your car.

The location can't be beat - just one block from the Magnificant Mile and while the
parking
is always high-priced at any of the downtown hotels, my husband parked at a nearby self-park,
parking
garage (just make sure that it allows for overnight
parking
), for a fraction of the cost of the hotel
parking
.

You're telling me my car in a
parking
space in a garage warrants $54 for 24 hours.

My main gripe was the $54 a night
parking
(valet with in and out privileges).

(If you only need to park the car you can save ~$20 a night by
parking
1 block away.

Furthermore, at $90 a night it was a 'good deal', but I can't help but join the chorus that $54 a night
parking
is a rip.
