1. And there's no food place anywhere near the hotel if you don't have a car, other than a Whataburger attached to a gas station (which is still a good 10-15 min walk by the side of the highway).

6. Without a car, the location is difficult for sightseeing and the fact that staff have no knowledge and/or are unwilling to answer questions about local area makes it difficult for overseas guests.
