The location was good it's 'walking distance' but it's a few blocks away- my advice is cut through the Grand Californian everyone does & it saves you some walking time (the walk back to the hotel after walking at Disney is draining on the little ones though) & if you have a pass you can go right to California adventures from the Grand Californian hotel.
