4. I wouldn't swim in the pool due to its questionable greenish color or walk around the area alone at night, but it's decent enough if you are traveling through or want to make a quick trip to see the sights in Austin.

7. I thought the hotel was in a bad part of town but after driving around Austin (the downtown area and also around this hotel) its seems the whole area has gone down the tubes since I lived North of Austin and spent a lot of time there from 2005-2007.
