9. I was advised that the rooftop bar had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building, which turned out to be true, but as the bar has no connection with the hotel, I couldn't charge anything to my room, which was a little odd.

10. Actually, I enjoyed being right underneath it because I was able to walk up a few stairs and have a glass of wine before bed:) There are some locals that do enjoy the bar, but that's because it's not pretentious.
