1. Its 3 minutes from a massive shopping mall, 10 mins to downtown seattle and not far from the museum of flight which is brilliant.

2. As this is not really SeaTac (nor downtown) and there is a huge parking lot adjacent to the hotel, this seems a bit tic-tacky for a mandatory 'fee.

3. if you get this property at a bidding discount, don't mind the drive downtown for the tourist traps, can justify in your head the parking $$$ tradeoff w/the better-than-average breakfast and free drinks, and don't mind the mall-ambiance of the surrounding area, then this might just be the hotel for you and your family.

4. However, they are pretty generous with their courtesy shuttle and will take you, with the free shuttle, to the monorail station from which you can get very easily to downtown Seattle.

5. I am used to paying for parking in downtown locations; ie Seattle, DC, etc. However Tukwila, Washington .

8. The hotel is 30min away from downtown, overall traffic in Seattle is very smooth so it wasn't a big deal for us.
