4. The pros: the beds, the location, large-ish bathroom with separate tub/shower, nice gym, basic rooms are ok size for NYC (although the basic room is a queen not a king-sized bed).

Positives:-Very comfortable bedsClean and modernFree use of computers in the lobby with a printer Complimentary evian in the roomsNice size roomsBathrooms with large bath and shower stall (not just a hip bath as in some hotels in NY)Nice gym with free evian sprays, towels etcAllowed to keep one room until 4pm with no extra chargeNegatives:-44th Street is good location for Times Square but otherwise not the most happening of locationsRestaurant is expensive for breakfast (as others have said - use Red Flame a couple of doors away)No room in fridge for own drinks and they charge if you remove anything.
