The 8 and 9 ave holds a couple of minor good shops and restaurants, but to be honest, you ALWAYS move towards Times square, The shoppingcentra around 7 and down,, down to downtown Broadway, Prince, bleeker and those areas, so are the location good,, its all up to you and your choise of holiday, its close to intrepid, colombus and central park left lower corner.

6. Saw some mixed reviews about this hotel but it is a great location, on quiet 48th street and a very short walk to Times Square and Rockerfeller Centre or the subways downtown.

10. You of course have a subway station around the corner too which takes you downtown to SoHo, Grenwich and Battery Park.
