5. There are good restaurants nearby (the Manhattan Diner was great!) I would stay here again, and would recommend it to friends who are looking for a less expensive alternative to hotels further downtown.

10. The hotel is situated in an absolutely great location---near the university, a few blocks to Central Park, the subway, great restaurants like Gennaro, Pio Pio, Acqua, and Carmine's---there's even 2 Starbucks located within a block, Duane Reade, and a diner right downstairs that was excellent.
