6. We weren't in the room much, but the front desk helped us problem solve an Expedia error, the rooms were always clean, and when my near 80 year old in-laws did not have air conditioning yet and an unexpected heat wave hit, they were moved to another room and accommodated without any hesitation.

Pros:-Good Value-Good Location (mid town, walking distance to Grand Central Station)-Beautiful lobby -Front desk staff was efficient and friendlyCons:-Bell hops were unsatisfactory (long wait, made to carry baggage to be stored and still expected tip, took forever to hail cab even though one was ready)-Rooms are nothing special, small space, nice linens but carpet, walls, and tiling in rooms could use updating.
