2. Subway to downtown was only a quick walk - we also took cabs and figured that the price was so good for the hotel that we had a little extra to spend on cab fare.

7. That was a gross error and we could have avoided the inconvenience and craziness of hopping the train on that day to get downtown and could have simply walked over to the parade route from our hotel if I had received the correct information.

10. The hotel is located in a fairly clean and relativly quite area (near Rockefeller University), but within walking distance to Central Park and the number 6 subway which can get you to Rockefeller Center (Midtown), Washington Square (Greenwich Village), and Downtown.
