The lack of any positive greeting from doormen/bellmen, as well as the really poor space and service in the restaurant at breakfast (I left after 5 minutes of being ignored) led me to happily explore the Drake's dining room for literally a few dollars more :) I highly recommend trying out the Drake with its Lake Michigan views during your stay for an opulent peaceful breakfast.

4. It was great to come 'home' to the Millenium Knickerbocker to catch some winks late at night; I highly recommend the place as a stepping stone to a Chicago visit, as it is convenient to shopping and returning to leave your purchases before heading out to other adventures.
