1. I slept well and was never disturbed by either the elevator or street noise.

Even though we were only on the third floor, we never heard any noise from street level, and believe me, when we were walking back to the hotel on Friday night, we were afraid we might be up all night because it was so noisy from all the night life, but our room was quiet and we slept like babies.

3. I usually rent a car when I travel either for business or pleasure but I found I didn't need one on this trip as BART picks up in the airport and a fast change to a street car in mid-town, we were there within an hour of landing at SFO.

6. In one of the side streets just off Union Square there was a small diner called Maccos which served delicious food at lunch time and very good value for money.

10. The location is great with easy access to the Powell Street Cable Cars and the hotel provided complimentary town car transportation to the Financial District every morning which made getting to my conference easy.
