2. I reccomend getting to the visitor center at the bottom of Powell street and Market to get a guide to the free walking tours in the city, we did the financial district, beautiful buildings and surprising open spaces on roof tops and the tour of Castro famous for the gay community and Harvey Milk.

3. Terrific location on Post Street, near Union Square Comfortable, spacious room, very clean, and wine was offered in the lobby each afternoon.

7. Also, a small supermarket and Italian restaurant (excellent food at very reasonable prices) also across the street add to the convenience factor when looking for a late meal after touring.
