1. There was also a very nice deli across the street with take-out or dine-in tables that helped with keeping our food costs down.

2. Use the metro, DC is so much walking and it helps out (get a week's pass for the metro which is an unlimited pass to ride for 7 days --well worth the cost!) There is free water outside the front of the hotel which was nice for hot days.
