9. The police were involved trying to talk sense into the parking garage manager and negotiate with our hotel, to no avail.

After almost 3 hours, all 30 of us were able to get our cars out, but a few of us damaged our cars (scratches) from having to go out backwards, through the entrance which required navigating a tight curb and a metal sign that was in the way, unable to be moved as the parking security would not move it.
