1. They let us take towels to the beach, fresh cucumber water always in the lobby.

2. I would suggest to take the HOP on HOP off bus to get arround sightseeing, we went all the way to Santa Monica Beach which was a great day out.

3. The best part was the friendly and accomadating staff, who packed us a 'snack bag' for our beach day, cleaned our room and organized it wonderfully even though we pretty much left it a sty every time we left, and accomadated our very large daily request for bottled water and snacks.

Although I'm from Northern California and don't really 'know' SoCal - I was enlisted as tour guide for my Michigan cousins who's dream trip was to see Hollywood, LA, etc. This was about day four, I had been driving all day, we were at Santa Monica beach and couldn't find a hotel under $400.00 using all my assortment of iPad apps - and the closest opening was this place.

10. We enjoyed the pool, free snacks, movie night each night (in the comfort of our room) and on our daughters birthday - a cake and baloons was waiting for our arrival in the room fromm a day out at the beach (what a surprise - not just for our daughter).
