One thing is if you have a car don't valet park - there is plenty of parking on surrounding
street
s and if you get lucky you can park right outside the hotel on Wilshire.

There is a lovely area called Westwood Village down the
street
which had affordable dining for the five of us, and we even saw a movie premiere with stars taking place.

The suggested valet parking is pricey at $33 a night, but we easily found
street
parking in the beautiful residential neighborhood behind the hotel.

The rooms were immaculate and if you're on a high floor, extremely quiet despite the

for parking but decided to look for parking and was surprised there was little problem to park free overnight on the
street
(around the corner from the hotel) especially if you plan to use the car during the day time.
