1. From the onlook the hotel looked very nice, but the poorly staffed front desk, the thin walls, and the smaller details, like no water at the gym, made this hotel less than what it's trying to be, a posh high end hotel.

2. The only downsides are small: (1) the only restroom is inside the gym next to the spa; (2) spa waiting area is tiny; (3) you can call in your food order from the poolside phone, but once it's delivered, the waiter disappears and doesn't come back to check on you or for refills.

4. The pool area is exquisite and the many additional facilities at the location including tennis courts, spa, gym, sauna etc were added bonuses.

7. Our room (two queen beds) was large and very well-equipped, and during our stay we made full use of the pool area, which was never too busy and also the gym, which while pretty basic met all of our holiday needs.
