1. For folks who want to bring their pets, I can say that the 'pet room' # 135 that I was given was very roomy, with a patio door facing the entrance side of the building, with a partially fenced sitting patio, and a very close-by patch of grass, so it would be lovely for staying with a dog or cat for the night.

2. On out second stay, we were allocated a much handier room (131), ground floor with a very nice patio looking out on to the pool.

3. The Travel Lodge at LAX Airport is a small treasure really - on one hand it has suitable rooms, an outdoor pool, free internet access and a patio for sitting and relaxing at, plus for us, Thrifty Car Rental was near enough right opposite, and a free complimentary shuttle service that takes you to the airport.

9. The patio door lead to a small but relaxing pool, and the wifi was free ($14.00 per day in Vegas) so now my opinion was picking up at speed.
