4. We turned up a day early, and they tried there very best to accomadate us and found us fantastic hotel near the beach, gave us simply clear directions and also the manager used his contact to make sure we didn't pay over the odds.

6. The airport shuttle is great if you don't have a car rental since you can connect with a county bus at the airport that goes directly to Miami Beach for only $2.35 each way.

7. When we arrived back in Miami after our cruise, we stayed at a hotel in South Beach and all I heard from my sons was 'Can't we go back to the Red Roof .
