1. (easy walk) The Trolley Stop Cafe about 1/2 'block' from Ave Plaza is good basic breakfast that is reasonably priced.

2. We went down to the corner market (1/2 block away) and stocked up on some munchies, had a drink every night at Igors - also a half block away - where we rubbed elbows with some of the locals and also had breakfast at the Trolley Stop and The Tavern (we liked this one the best!).

There are two great breakfast places a stone's throw from the hotel (the very popular Trolley Stop Cafe for big greasy breakfasts, and the Avenue Cafe right next door to the Trolley Stop for smaller breakfasts and better coffee), one of the best beer places (the Avenue Pub) in North America a few blocks down and the St.
