2. When I went to check out, I find out they WITHOUT INFORMING ME charged one night to the credit card I gave them when I checked in, because apparently the original card I payed with wouldn't go through.

3. I feel like when using gift cards (especially Marriott gift cards) you should not have to pay for the card then have your money "held" again until you check out but that is just my opinion.
