1. We stayed at the Doubletree Downtown Orlando in July/August 2011 for 14 nights, I selected the hotel for the Doubletree brand and because I got the room for me and my family free through a hotel points scheme reward and this offered a good deal on the points redemption.

I was hilton gold and loyalty member, 12/19/2011-12/29/2011 My wife and me travelled to Folrida, I made a reservation like this 12/19/-12/20 doubletree orlando downtown, 12/20-12/21 DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Melbourne Beach Oceanfront, 12/21-12/23 Doubletree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay , 12/24-12/25 Hampton Inn & Suites Miami-South/Homestead and 12/26-12/29 doubletree orlando downtown hotel before we start our vacation.

3. Other than that, the staff has been wonderful so far, and the location is very convenient to downtown and the highway, but if you value sleep, stay away.

4. 18 dollars for valet parking seems a little steep but they do offer a free shuttle downtown, free wi-fi, and warm cookies.
