7. About the guest rooms: they are large and quirky with the original chalkboards (satisfies the wannabe teacher in me), but with lots of hard surfaces all over noise is not dampened in any way, either from the hallways or adjoining rooms.

10. Our room still had the pull down chalk boards, one of which was replaced with a mirror, a book shelf stocked with books and a fun mural painted around the upper wall of the room.
