5. Don`t get me wrong, the room was nice albeit small, the bed was SUPER comfortable, linens were soft and comfy, bath was marble and tastefully appointed (again, small).

6. A king petite suite with brick walls, nice sitting area, stocked bar, frig, marble bath, and open balcony for my wing of suites, that welcomed a walk with views or seating for peaceful evenings and a nightcap.

7. They did not have ADA rooms with a river view (bummer) but they did have bars in the bathtub and provided us with a bath chair.

9. She informed us that we have use of the gym at the Mokara across the footbridge on the other side of the riverwalk, and to bring our bathing suits, as they have a nice pool too.

10. The night we arrived a wedding reception with live band was playing across the river and we sat on the hacienda style balcony bathed in romantic warm Texas jasmine filled air.
