Yes, you can
street
park but you need to be careful because some of the parking is marked and timed or goes away in the morning commute.

We did need a heater in our room for at night and used a box fan to help with some of the traffic noise from the cars on the
street
.

Love that its across the

One thing they don't make really clear though, is that you CAN park on the
street
for free, rather than using their rather expensive valet parking.

This great 1920s building across the
street
from Balboa Park needs a complete remodel back to the studs.

Its location couldn't be better for those of us who prefer to walk: on a quiet
street
right next to Balboa Park, an easy stroll to the Zoo, the restaurants and nightlife of Hilllcrest (and the Gaslamp Quarter in the other direction).

The park across the
street
from the hotel is wonderful for walking or relaxing; our trip was short and busy so we didn't make it to the zoo or museums.
