1. We had another son come in for the night and he stayed in a room tucked back in the hotel and had no street noise.

8. the Metro station is just up the street and there is plenty to walk to nearby (we checked out a great little tea house about 1/2 block down the street and a tasty coffee shop 2-3 blocks away).

10. This elegant hotel is literally just a stone's throw away from the White House and right across the street from Lafayette Park, which is a great location to view the White House, people watch or just sit on a park bench and read your favorite book.
