6. To address the noise, it is noisy, but you are in a major city and we did see the President motor by with many motorcycles and sirens, but that is to be expected as you are right by Pennsylvania Avenue.

10. All the previous reviews are entirely correct:- wonderful staff, polite and knowledgeable; every time we needed information or advice, they were prepared- a bit out of the way, but easily accessible by subway (two stops, Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle); four blocks to Georgetown (which has nice restaurants)- a lot of embassies and five-star hotels in the area (thus restaurants are quite overpriced and definitely not special in any way); there is a supermarket at M Street and 25th- comfortable rooms - beds have duvets, cotton linen and tons of pillows - our room was by the elevator, but we hardly heard any noise; it faced the inner court, but we got a special rate, thus no complaints.
"Excellent value... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/10/2009 Vote
