Because of our flight times back to the uk we spent another night at the end of our holiday (after a week on Maui) in Honolulu and there was no availability at the Halekulani so we booked two connecting diamond view rooms at the Moana Surfrider in the tower (suposedly their best rooms) and it did not compare, it was grubby, the towels were threadbare and the rooms were incredibly basic, the carpet was totally disgusting a filthy sticky mess that you didnt want your feet to touch YUCK.
