1. The suite:My first impression of the suite was 'ugh, this costs $1000 per night rack rate? I would be seriously annoyed if I paid that much for this room'.

I'm always annoyed by reviews that gush over trivia (I recently read a review of another hotel where the reviewer raved about the high sheet thread count ) and leave out the things that are important to so many people - Do the rooms stink? Are the beds comfortable? Can you hear the people in the room next door thinking?In the case of the Hapuna, the answers are yes, yes, and yes (thank heaven for the beds.

8. Many brown spots in the fairway but I think the most annoying thing about this course is the narrowness of the fairways and the fact they are constructing more homes on the course.
