1. When we arrived, our room had been booked and we were given a suite with a kingbed which turned out to be a queen - plus you could smell cigarette smoke when you walked into the suite.

This hotel provided a clean room, but the heater or air conditioner could not be used because it emitted a strong and unpleasant smell; the shower was fine; the iron leaked and spat and was not in working order; and internet access was extremely poor (WiFi so weak the bandwidth was reduced to 1 Mbps, Ethernet cable could not be made to work at all).
