1. Mind you there are plenty of good restaurants nearby (although some are a touch expensive compared to what we are used to back home), but we expected this in Kauai, so all was good.

2. I had probably the smallest (and least expensive) room on the 2nd floor, but it literally had all the amenities of the other standard rooms, except for the kitchen sink.

5. We really appreciated the friendly staff and all of the 'comp' use of beach toys and chairs so we didn't have the added expense of renting them- Our kids loved the Koi pond (and the nightly cookie treats in the office :)This will be our 'home away from home' whenever we return to visit family.
