1. But the woman on the desk was amazing, and (when we explained, without a note of complaint) transferred us without cost to a much larger corner room - we loved it, and were sorry to leave.

4. Having read all the reviews here, it is clear that many other visitors have also experienced this and I can't believe the hotel hasn't done something about it, as I imagine they field a lot of complaints.

5. My main complaint was that the windows were only a single pane of glass, so it was both noisy and actually pretty chilly if you sat next to it.

7. The bathroom was new and clean, although hooks were a bit small for holding towels, we had no complaints whatsoever.

9. The only complaint I had was I had forgotten to place a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door before I went to bed, and the housekeeping came in at 9AM to clean.
