1. The brass work inside the elevators was grungy, reflecting the general lack of attention to detail at this property.
"Mediocre hotel in a great location, often for a reasonable price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2012 Vote
2. Lastly, please clean the graffiti out of the elevators, it is shows a complete lack of care for customer perception, and also do not expect the guest to use the service elevator that looks like it was last serviced and cleaned in 1929.
"The first 26 story Motel6? " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/3/2012 Vote
3. Check in desk is very lack luster, and oppressively warm (by fireplace).
"Good to go! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/11/2011 Vote
4. We'd have thought no more of it - it's possible, & understandable, that hotels aren't keen to offer the same customer service to guests who haven't booked directly - but the lack of response to my post-stay mails suggests that this may be a more general issue.
"Truly excellent at the time, but sadly lacking in pre- and post-stay service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/11/2011 Vote
5. The room was small, but the comfortable bed and pillows made up for the lack of space.
"Re: Great staff and ideal location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/28/2011 Vote
6. I can verify the front desk agent’s assertion that we have not had an issue with bed bugs in this hotel, as you can see from the lack of reports on this site, but I am pleased that the staff made an attempt to accommodate you with another room and that Arturo ensured that you were not charged for anything during your time at the hotel.

7. I may not choose to stay there if I had to spend a lot of time in the room - the only seating was a single desk chair, but it was fine for our purposes and what it lacked in space it made up in style.
"Great European style hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2010 Vote
8. The room itself was also lacking - instead of a room with 2 beds, we were in an awkwardly arranged room with 1 queen.
"Location was great, staff was not " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/15/2010 Vote
9. However, the location almost makes up for what the hotel is lacking.
"Allerton was so-so " Read full review on Expedia   2/7/2010 Vote
10. No complaints except the "Petite Classic" is quite petite but comfortable enough for two; and the lack of free wireless internet services is a definite turn off in this day and age.
"I love Chi-town " Read full review on Expedia   1/27/2010 Vote
