1. Noise was not as bad as others made it out to seem; however, there are the occasional loud honks and sirens that may wake you if you are a light sleeper (as in any major city).

3. Essentially, I found what was described by other reviewers to be, more or less, true: place is loud with the constant rumbling of Lombard Street; my sheet was stained; could hear the snorer in the room next door; and I did see a couple of ants in the bathroom.
