It was a non-smoking room, and other than a fairly strong cleaning solution
odor
when we first arrived (which cleared up quickly once we opened the window), the room was
odor
-free.

Great hotel for the price, I stay there for 3 nights, the room on my first night has a bad thermostat (I think), I have a cold night, then I change to a different room, which is a smoking room but did not have any
